Current research interests
i) Novel phenomena in optical microcavities and cavity-quantum electrodynamics (cQED) systems.
ii). On-chip integrated multi-functional photonic devices for future lab-on-a-chip applications.
(e.g., label-free biosensing, optical manipulation, surface-enhanced Raman scattering analysis).
iii). Micro and nanofabrication technologies for the development of silicon photonics and optofluidics
